A Danbury resident has claimed a $2 million top prize in the Connecticut Lottery’s “$2,000,000 Mega Multiplier” scratch game. The winning ticket was sold at J&R White Street Citgo, which will receive a $20,000 retailer bonus. The name of the winner has not been disclosed. One top prize in the game remains unclaimed.

A 53 year old Woodbury man is accused of sexually assaulting a girl as young as 14 “four to five times per week,” according to a state police warrant. Christopher Thompson was arrested Monday and arraigned. He’s being held on $300,000 bond.
