More Roundabouts Coming to Connecticut

Connecticut is adding more roundabouts, with over a dozen currently planned or under construction. The Connecticut Department of Transportation says studies show roundabouts cut severe crashes by 81% and total crashes by 44%. Safety groups note they improve traffic flow and shorten pedestrian crossing distances. Many drivers however, feel otherwise.
