Gas prices fall below $3 in parts of Connecticut, Danbury seeing lower pump costs

Connecticut drivers are seeing gas prices around the state average at about $2.77 a gallon. Connecticut’s overall price remains higher than many parts of the country even as national averages dip. In Danbury, regular gas is tracking a bit lower… at about $2.68 per gallon.

Interstate 84 Lanes Reopen After Southbury Crash

Traffic came to a halt on Interstate 84 east in Southbury after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning. The wreck closed the left lane between exits 13 and 14 shortly after 8 a.m. The state Department of Transportation says all lanes reopened by 9. No injuries, and so far, the cause has not been reported.
