Danbury Planners Reject Self Storage Proposal

Danbury’s Planning Commission has voted unanimously to oppose a proposal allowing self storage space at a commercial plaza on West Street. City planners cited recent zoning changes aimed at limiting self storage and promoting active commercial use. More People Left Connecticut Than Moved In During 2025

More people moved out of Connecticut than into the state for the third straight year, according to new data from U-Haul. The state posted a net migration loss of about two percent in 2025, ranking 42nd nationwide. U-Haul says warmer, mostly Republican-led states saw the strongest population gains.
