Lamont Proposes Free School Breakfast, Expands Lunch Aid

Governor Ned Lamont rolled out a state budget plan that would give every K–12 public school student in Connecticut free breakfast each morning and eliminate reduced-price lunch charges. Firefighter Hospitalized After Brookfield House Fire

A firefighter was taken to Danbury Hospital after crews from the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company knocked down a Wednesday morning house fire on Fleetwood Lane in Brookfield.
