Website Lets Drivers Check Flock Plate Searches

Connecticut drivers can now check whether their license plate has been searched through Flock Safety’s system. The website www.HaveIBeenFlocked.com uses audit logs obtained from government agencies through public records requests. A match only shows that someone searched the plate, not that the vehicle was photographed or its driver was under investigation.

Settlement Allows 115 Homes in Newtown Development

A court settlement could allow construction of 115 homes in Newtown’s proposed Castle Hill Village development. Developer George Trudell had appealed after the Borough Zoning Commission approved only 99 homes. A judge still must approve the settlement, and two separate court challenges remain over environmental and historic preservation concerns near Taunton Pond.
