33 New Environmental Conservation Rangers

Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has graduated 33 new Environmental Conservation Rangers from its 2025 Ranger Academy. The recruits completed 120 hours of training and will serve in state parks across Connecticut, with 10 returning Rangers also rejoining the force. Wearing bright yellow shirts, Rangers help enforce park rules, assist visitors, and promote safety. The program acts as a pipeline for future conservation officers. In fact, several graduates have already moved into full-time law enforcement or emergency dispatch roles.
