A proposal that would have restricted the use of gas powered leaf blowers in Ridgefield has been withdrawn. The withdrawal comes after a massive backlash from residents and landscapers, and it means a public hearing that had been set for December 13, and town meeting scheduled for January 3rd to address it, have been canceled.
