Car Goes Up In Flames In Brookfield

Brookfield firefighters quickly extinguished a car fire on Sandy Lane Wednesday evening. The fire, reported just before 5:20pm yesterday, fully engulfed the vehicle, but both occupants were safely out before firefighters arrived. Crews contained a fuel leak with help from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. There were no reports of injuries.
