4th Annual Battle Of The Badges Returning To Danbury April 23
Danbury’s 4th Annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is set for Wednesday, April 23, at the Danbury Fair Mall. The Red Cross and city emergency services invite the public to donate blood alongside first responders from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event includes emergency prep demos, a “Touch-a-Truck” display, and giveaways.

A Danbury man will serve three years in prison in connection with a woman’s fatal overdose. 58 year old Felix Pabon pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide and drug possession with intent to sell. Police say he provided the woman fentanyl and delayed calling for help. The overdose happened in June 2023.
