Candlewood Lake will see a lower water level this year as FirstLight begins its annual drawdown today. The lake will be kept about five feet below its normal summer range as part of routine operations at the Rocky River Pumped Storage Station. FirstLight says the shallower drawdown was coordinated with state and federal agencies and the Candlewood Lake Authority.
