A house fire on Richter Drive in Danbury forced residents to flee their home late Tuesday afternoon, but no injuries were reported. Fire crews were dispatched just before 5pm and found an active fire on arrival. Firefighters and a police officer helped move the occupants to a nearby home while crews knocked down the flames. The fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause.
