Newtown police arrested three people after a series of stolen vehicle reports early Thursday. Officers first found an abandoned car at Aunt Park Lane and Hundred Acres Road, then responded to a crash on Butterfield Road involving another stolen vehicle. A third car seen circling the area was stopped, carrying four occupants. 19 year old Rashaun Woods of Stratford and two juveniles, ages 13 and 15, were charged. Woods was held on a $25,000 bond. The juveniles were released to their parents after treatment for minor injuries.
