Ridgefield police are investigating a residential break in on Main Street. Officers were called to the area near Rockwell Road early Thursday after a report of forced entry. Police say an unknown individual pried open a rear door and entered the home, then fled on foot after realizing someone was inside. No violence was reported and no injuries occurred.
