Danbury Hospital is receiving a $2 million donation from a woman after doctors treated her rare brain condition that caused constant pounding in her ear.
Sheila Perrin underwent minimally invasive surgery in 2024 and says the symptoms disappeared immediately. The gift will support the Nuvance Health Neuroscience Institute, helping expand staffing, equipment, and care for future patients.
