A firefighter was taken to Danbury Hospital after crews from the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company knocked down a Wednesday morning house fire on Fleetwood Lane in Brookfield. The fire was quickly controlled, no residents were hurt. The American Red Cross is helping the displaced family while the fire marshal investigates.
