Ahead of National Caregiver Day on February 20, Danbury caregiver Minnie Brown, of Seniors Helping Seniors of Western Connecticut, has been nominated for Caregiver of the Year for her commitment to seniors’ safety, independence, and quality of life. Brown has logged hundreds of hours of one-on-one care, often stepping in on short notice for early mornings, weekends, and difficult shifts. She was recognized for her steady presence during medical appointments, hospital readmissions, and recovery for a client without in-state family support.
