Connecticut has launched a statewide housing needs assessment aimed at addressing a growing housing shortage. The Office of Policy and Management says the study will guide how many housing units are needed by region under a law passed last year. Regional councils and towns will use the findings to develop housing growth plans focused on affordability and access starting in 2028.
