New Milford officials have unveiled a design concept to transform more than 50 acres of riverfront land along the Housatonic River. The plan calls for parks, trails, recreation space, conservation areas, and limited mixed-use development, including housing. Town leaders say the project would be funded through state and federal grants and private donations, not local tax dollars, with full buildout still years away.
