The case against 67 year old John Theodore Fairchild of New Fairfield has been continued in Danbury Superior Court at the request of his new attorney. Fairchild faces a third-degree charge of possessing child sexual abuse material after images were found on a tablet seized during a 2024 search. The judge set a new court date for March and warned no further delays will be granted without extraordinary circumstances.
