Fairfield University is part of a new statewide effort to expand artificial intelligence education as Connecticut launches phase three of the Tech Talent Accelerator. The program brings together seven colleges and universities with business partners to build AI skills tied directly to workforce demand. At Fairfield, AI training will be embedded into nursing education and computer science programs, including hands-on simulations and a digital credential. State officials say the initiative targets a fast-growing need for AI talent across nearly every industry in Connecticut.
