Southwest Diversion

Memorial Day was a big day for travel for many Americans, but for some passengers on one Southwest Airlines flight, it wasn’t what they expected when they boarded the plane. The aircraft had to make an unscheduled landing at Bradley International Airport due to what Southwest called an in-flight issue. The flight took off from Providence and was on its way to Baltimore, when it made the unscheduled landing at Bradly around 8:45pm Monday. There were 146 passengers aboard, and they were eventually taken to their destination after another aircraft was sent to Bradley to pick them up.
