Former Danbury Mayor Joe Cavo has resigned from City Council and he says he will be leaving the city. His retirement plans include moving out of state, and then spending some time in an RV… traveling the country with his wife Liz. Cavo was elected to City Council in 2003 and became the council president in 2006. He retired in 2017 from the Danbury Fire Department. He admits that he is most likely going to miss Danbury.
