Flags Lowered To Honor Fallen Former Governor

Governor Ned Lamont has ordered U.S. and State of Connecticut flags to half-staff in honor of former Governor Lowell P. Weicker, Jr., who passed away Wednesday after a short illness. Flags should remain lowered until sunset on the date of interment, which has not yet been determined. The governor’s office released a statement, saying that with the loss of Lowell Weicker, Connecticut has lost a legendary, larger than life, and lionhearted leader.
