More smoke!

More smoke from those Canadian wildfires is expected to pour into Connecticut today, and that will worsen air quality. The smoke this week, once again drifted east and yesterday it was quite evident in Danbury. Today, it is expected to cause elevated pollution statewide as it continues to drift east according to the National Weather Service. The smoke has prompted air quality alerts in states surrounding Connecticut. The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said the air quality was “moderate” on Thursday.
