In Brookfield, Republican Harry Shaker has announced his plans to seek a fourth two-year term on the Board of Selectmen in this November’s election. Shaker… a longtime Brookfield resident… made the announcement he says, after what he called careful thought and encouragement from family, friends and other local officials. Four other people have already announced that they plan to seek a seat on the three-member Board of Selectmen this November.
