A house fire in Newtown Thursday morning left the structure badly damaged, and it claimed the life of a cat. The fire broke out at a house on Berkshire Road early yesterday morning… around 3:30am. Everyone inside was able to get out safely. One firefighter had to be treated at the scene by paramedics. The Fire Marshall’s office is investigating the cause.
