In New Fairfield, the finance board has now approved new budgets for what will be a 3rd referendum. It comes following two failed budget referendums. Board members no say they believe that they have finally found some common ground that they hope voters may support. The board voted Wednesday to present a nearly $52.8 million school budget and $13.7 million town budget for New Fairfield’s third referendum.
