An investigation into a cyber attack that resulted in a massive data theft from three Connecticut hospitals… along with other hospitals around the country… has led to a shadowy international extortion group. The attack has knocked some computer systems offline, and is has now been confirmed that some information has been obtained by the hackers. The cyberattack meanwhile, continues to affect some operations in the state. The FBI and the Connecticut Department of Public Health are investigating it.
