On Wednesday, the trial of a former Danbury teacher accused of sex abuse continued at State Superior Court in Danbury. Jurors yesterday heard a phone call between that former teacher… Kenneth Gardner… and his accuser, that had been recorded last December. The 53 year old Gardner has plead not guilty to 14 felony charges. Gardner worked as a sixth grade science teacher at Broadview Middle School. He resigned in February 2022 after an investigation was launched into the allegations against both him and his wife, Lisa Gardner. The couple were both arrested in May 2022. Lisa Gardner currently is awaiting trial after pleading not guilty.
