If you are a customer of M&T Bank here in Connecticut, there is a pretty good chance that you were affected by a global data breach. The bank now says some of its Connecticut customers were caught up in a data breach involving one of the bank’s third party vendors. Reuters reported earlier this month that nearly 40 million people had been affected by the data breach, but officials declined to release how many of its customers in Connecticut were affected.
