Danbury Mayor Dean Esposito released a statement on Wednesday, thanking Danbury’s firefighters for their rapid response during recent extreme weather events. The mayor said that over the last few weeks, Danbury’s firefighters have mobilized in response to several flash flooding and extreme weather events, along with a fast moving house fire and a fatal car crash. He said that Danbury’s firefighters are the best in the state, and he personally is extremely grateful for their dedication to protecting the city.
