A little more than $459,000 has been added to the City of Danbury’s Grand List through the Motor Vehicle Compliance Program. That’s the program that utilizes license plate scanning technology and extensive investigation to identify vehicles permanently located within Danbury that are not registered with the city. Since the program started last November, it has been responsible for the addition of more than 1,500 vehicles to the Grand List and an additional $459,207 in tax dollars.
