Previously announced plans to build a 100-foot tall cell tower at The Ridgefield golf course is now facing some opposition… that despite the fact that voters unanimously approved a lease agreement for it earlier this month. Now, some residents say they are upset that the cell tower would be built so close to their homes. A meeting will be held tonight at 7 at the Ridgefield Town Hall Annex with Homeland Towers in Danbury, the company that signed a 30-year lease agreement with the town for the tower.
