Alabama Man Accused Of Danbury Bomb Threats

A man from Alabama who is accused of threatening to ‘blow up’ Danbury City Hall, has pleaded not guilty to a string of felony and misdemeanor charges at state Superior Court in Danbury. The charges against 41 year old Dwayne Nickles come following an investigation into a bomb threat involving Danbury City Hall two years ago. Nickles is facing charges including first-degree threatening and second-degree harassment stemming from the incidents that took place back on July 27, 2021… one of which involved a bomb threat. Nickles remains in custody on a $150,000 set bond at the Bridgeport Correctional Center. He has a pre-trial hearing scheduled December 4.
