The city of Danbury has relocated 7 local homeless people to a new shelter and out of the former Super 8 motel, which now sits empty. The homeless were moved into a city-owned shelter on Elm Street shortly before Thanksgiving. The move and subsequent shutdown of the old motel puts an end to a controversy among west siders… many who didn’t want a shelter in their neighborhood.
