A judge has put the final wrap on plans that have been simmering for the past several years involving the old Super 8 motel on Lake Avenue in Danbury. The fight that has now been going on for about two-years is over, after a judge ruled the city had every right to side with neighborhood opposition and deny a request by a Stamford nonprofit to turn the westside hotel into a homeless shelter. City officials on Monday, said they were happy with the final decision.
