Danbury Mayor Roberto Alves has appointed Dan Casagrande of the law firm Cramer and Anderson as the city’s new top attorney. Casagrande will take the place of Robert Yamin, the outgoing council who has served as the city’s top attorney for 22 years. For the past 30 years, Casagrande has served as outside assistant corporation counsel for the city of Danbury. He has also served as town attorney for New Milford and New Fairfield and as special counsel for several municipalities, including Ridgefield.
