Long Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Suspected Arsonist

A Danbury man who was rescued from the roof of a burning New Milford house, has now been arrested and is facing charges of arson and criminal mischief for what investigators say was hit part in that fire. 54 year old Jeremy Rawson is accused of being behind the fire at a home on Kent Road last March that was ruled at the time by investigators, as “incendiary in nature.” New Milford Police say Rawson was rescued from the roof of the burning home last March, by a New Milford resident who said Rawson was sitting hunched over on the roof , wearing only a T-shirt and socks, and bleeding profusely from a laceration on his neck. Rawson is being held on a $200,000 bond at the New Haven Correctional Center .
