Marshals Nab Fugitive

The District of Connecticut U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a man on Tuesday who was wanted here in Connecticut on a murder charge, wanted in West Virginia on a federal indictment in reference to a DEA investigation, and had been on the run for almost 3 years. 29 year old Tyjha Watson of Charleston, West Virginia, was taken into custody yesterday morning, and now he faces state charges here in Connecticut for murder, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal use of a weapon, reckless endangerment, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, and illegal discharge of a weapon stemming from an incident last June in Waterbury that resulted in the death of a 49-year-old woman.
