Protesters, many waving Palestinian flags and holding handwritten signs, caused a disruption at Tuesday night’s Danbury City Council meeting… calling for the council to adopt a resolution calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war. But City Council didn’t take up a resolution. They did however, leave the possibility open for future action… admitting though that anything going on at the level of the world stage is pretty much out of the hands of the Danbury City Council.
