Beginning today, Aquarion will start to install nearly 1.5 miles of water main in New Milford. The project will get underway today on Prospect Hill Road and Dorwin Hill Road according to Aquarion, and when it is done, 8,296 feet, or about 1.5 miles, of water main will be replaced… all part of an ongoing program to improve Aquarion’s water distribution system. The work should… if the weather cooperates… wrap up by July. Then the roads will be re-paved. In the meantime, drivers should expect minor delays and possible detours from 7am to 5 pm.
