The Bethel Finance Board has approved a $92.2 million budget for the upcoming fiscal year. This budget includes pay raises for the First Selectman, Registrar of Voters, and Town Clerk positions. The spending plan, which reflects a less than 4% year-over-year increase, allocates nearly $37.5 million to town operations and expenses, and $54.7 million to the school district. A public hearing on the budget is scheduled for March 19.
