In Ridgefield, new pickleball courts are on the horizon. As part of an $8.39 million capital improvement plan, the courts are just one of many projects under consideration. The town’s operating budget for the next fiscal year, unanimously approved by the Board of Selectmen, calls for a 3.88% spending increase. The plan also includes a $115 million school budget. The town’s mill rate would increase by 3.1%. The budget now goes before the town’s Board of Finance on March 25.
