With a moratorium on new cannabis businesses set to expire, residents and business owners are encouraged to voice their opinions at the March 28 hearing. The proposed regulations aim to cap retail and medical operations while allowing for cannabis production facilities. If approved, Brookfield would join a select few towns in the region allowing cannabis operations.
