A 20-year-old Connecticut man, Christian Borrero, has been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for a string of armed robberies and car-jackings. Borrero’s crime spree, which targeted convenience stores and gas stations, along with a carjacking incident, all occurred in June and July 2022. Borrero… of New Haven… pleaded guilty to two counts of carrying and using a firearm during violent crimes. Following his 168-month sentence behind bars, he will serve five years of supervised release.
