The state of Connecticut is now joining with other government entities and private businesses that are moving toward a ban or already have banned TikTok. Connecticut lawmakers want to ban the app from state-owned devices, citing it as a national security concern. 3 bills are now being pushed through the state legislature would ban state employees from downloading or using TikTok on any state-issued or state-owned devices. So far 20 states and the federal government have banned TikTok from government devices.
