26 year old former University of Connecticut student Peter Manfredonia was captured nearly three years ago, after a 6 day manhunt that spanned four states following the murder of Theodore DeMers. Last Wednesday, he finally entered a guilty plea to charges stemming from a sword attack that took place back in May of 2020, and include the murder of DeMers, the maiming of another man, and holding yet another man hostage. Now this Thursday, Manfredonia is scheduled to appear in court and plead guilty to crimes related to the killing of Nicholas Eisele and the kidnapping of Eisele’s girlfriend in connection with that same attack.
