A former Danbury resident was sentenced to 28 years in prison for sexually exploiting a 12-year-old girl in Michigan. 24 year old Kristian Feliz was a graduate student in Barcelona when he began an online relationship with the girl, pressuring her to create and send pornographic videos. In January 2023, Feliz traveled to Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he recorded videos of himself with the girl over three days and instructed her to sell the videos online. Feliz was indicted in March 2023 and extradited from Spain last November.
