New Fairfield will hold a third budget referendum on June 8 for the 2024-25 spending plans. Voting will take place at the New Fairfield Senior Center from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The ballot includes a $54.9 million school budget and a $14.1 million town budget. This follows further school spending cuts approved by the Board of Finance on May 22. The previous budgets failed in the last two referendums. Absentee ballots are available at the town clerkâs office.
